Eli Brunborg – Operations and Maintenance
Eli is an industry expert with over 35 years in the offshore industry. Experience includes project engineering design and development, corporate commissioning management, offshore operation management, developing a process safety management program, technical safety, and HSSE/regulatory compliance.
Specializing in project life cycle approach; covering interfaces, technical integrity, operations management support, barrier management, and establishing methods for minimizing the risk of accidents/major accidents (process safety management).
Cyril Dupré – Projects
Cyril is a recognized team leader with strong integrity and care values, driving results and achieving targets. He has over 30 years of construction, project, and risk management experience in the Offshore Energy sector.
Specialising in the management of projects and proposals: client relations, partner interactions, subcontractors and teams’ management on technical, commercial, and contractual matters, set-up, implementation, follow-up, and reporting of project plans, budgets, and schedules as well as management of change and risk and opportunity management.
Cyril graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and Ecoles des Ponts et Chaussées in France
Andrew Newport – Technology
Andrew is an industry expert in the design, development, and integrity management of floating system hulls, floating offshore wind structures, and mooring systems.
He has over 35 years of experience in the offshore energy industry including R&D, conceptual and basic design, detailed design, project management, and construction.
Andrew holds a BEng in Structural Engineering, an MA in Product Design, and a PhD in Offshore Engineering. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, and the Royal Institution of Naval Architects.
Mike Wyllie – Director
Mike is a highly experienced Technology Director specialising in floating energy systems. He is well known and respected in the offshore industry through his previous position as Technology Director with a leading international contractor.
He has successfully directed teams to use their existing core skills to develop innovative new technologies for offshore renewable energy and create effective business plans to commercialize these.
Mike holds a BSc in Chemical & Process Engineering from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, UK, and is a Fellow of the UK Institution of Chemical Engineers. He has recently been appointed as a Research Associate for the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies.
Catherine Dewsbery – Executive Assistant
Catherine has over than 20 years of experience in executive support, working with senior executives across various industries.
She is a valuable member of the OpenWater Group where she provides administrative and logistics support, ensuring the efficient operation of our London office and supporting our management team.
